Trump threw his own supporters under the bus after they repeated the send her back chant that he created.

Trump Blames His Supporters For Racist Chant

Here was the exchange in the White House:

Q: When your supporters last night were chanting, send her back, why didn’t you stop them? Why didn’t you ask them to stop saying that?

Trump: Well, number one, I think I I started speaking very quickly. It really was a loud — I disagree with it, by the way, but it was quite a chant, and I felt a little bit badly about it but I will say this. I did, and I started speaking very quickly, but it started up rather fast as you probably noticed.

Q: So you’ll tell your supporters never to say that again?

Trump: I would say I was not happy with it. I disagree with it. But again, I didn’t say that. They did. But I disagree with it.

Q: They were echoing what you said in your first week.

Trump: I don’t think if you examine that I don’t think you’ll find it. I disagree with it.

Trump is responsible for send them back chant

Trump didn’t start speaking quickly. Here is the video:

In the video above, Trump pauses for the chant and lets his supporters have the floor. The president doesn’t interrupt them or tell them to stop. For example, when people used to boo during former President Obama’s speeches, he would interrupt them and tell the crowd not to boo. Trump let his crowd engage in a racist chant, but now that he is catching criticism for it, he threw his own fans under the bus.

Trump created the send them back chant. This is his fault. He is responsible for controlling his rally crowds.

The crowd was following Trump’s lead, as the responsibility for this racist frenzy is on his shoulders.
