“And we need Attorney General Jeff Sessions – who should have never been confirmed in the first place – to resign. We need it now,” Senator Elizabeth Warren tweeted Wednesday night after a report that Jeff Sessions lied under oath when he said he had no contacts with Russia as a member of the Trump campaign.
Warren is joined by Democratic Senators Amy Klobuchar (MN), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), and Intelligence Committee Member Ron Wyden (OR) in calling for Sessions’ resignation, and in the House, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA).
