Trump doesn't deny pressuting Ukraine to investigate Biden.

Trump’s defense against the whistleblower complaint was all over the place, but he never denied trying to pressure Ukraine into investigating former vice president Joe Biden.

Trump said, “It doesn’t matter what I discussed. I will say this, somebody ought to look into Joe Biden’s statement. It was disgraceful, where he talked about billions of dollars that he’s not giving to a certain country unless a certain prosecutor is taken off the case. So somebody ought to look into you wouldn’t because he’s a Democrat, and the fake news doesn’t look into things like that. It’s a disgrace. I had a great conversation with numerous people. I don’t even know exactly who you’re talking about. I had a great conversation with numerous people, numerous leaders, and I always look for the conversation that’s going to help the United States the most. That’s very important.”
Donald Trump tried to withhold $250 billion in military aid to Ukraine as part of his blackmail effort to get them to investigate Joe Biden. The Ukranian government has already said that there is nothing to Trump’s Joe Biden conspiracy theory and that they want no part of what Trump and Rudy Giuliani are trying to pull.
Notice that nowhere in Trump’s answer was there a denial that he tried to get Ukraine to investigate Biden. It is still unknown what Trump promised in exchange for dirt on Joe Biden. but it was so alarming that a person working in the Executive Branch of the United States government filed a whistleblower complaint against the President Of The United States.
Trump doesn’t have a leg to stand on, and his answer only served to throw gas on the fire and make the scandal grow.
