Rachel Maddow killed the Republican talking point that Mueller’s testimony was a great day for Trump and the GOP.
Maddow said, “All in all, as you can tell, there was a bunch that happened they thought was surprising. Even some of the stuff you might have predicted would come out because of the way we knew we wanted to walk through his findings, all in all, look at today as a whole. I know that the Trump White House and conservative media are trying to like chin up and make it seem like they had a great day, and nobody died. They did not have a great day today. This was the president’s day today. Breathtaking.”
Rachel Maddow then played clips of all the devastating points that were raised by Democrats and confirmed by Mueller during his testimony.

If you want to cut through the nonsense and understand what kind of Trump really had, consider that the president started screaming at reporters when they asked him about being indicted after he leaves office. The narrative being pushed by conservative media and their mainstream enablers that today was a good day for Republicans is total nonsense.
Wednesday was a disaster. The Russia scandal is back front and center in the news, and more importantly, the nation is once again focused on the potential criminal activity of Donald J. Trump.
Nice try with the spin Republicans, but today was most definitely not a good day.
