Trump Has Lost More Members Of His Cabinet To Ethics Violations Than Any President In History

Trump is so corrupt and devoid of values that he has had more members resign due to ethics concerns than any other president in history.

HuffPost noted, “President Donald Trump has lost more of his Cabinet secretaries to corruption and other ethics concerns in his first term than any other president in U.S. history. The departure of Labor Secretary Alex Acosta over the past sweetheart deal he gave pedophile hedge fund manager Jeffrey Epstein is just the latest incident. With Acosta’s announced exit, the total number of ethics-related Cabinet-level departures in the Trump administration has reached five. This is an ignominious record for a president who claimed he would “drain the swamp” in Washington and eliminate corruption. The president has instead run one of the most corrupt administrations in American history with lax oversight, nepotism, self-dealing and the appointment of dozens of lobbyists to oversee the industries they previously worked for.”

No president including those who served two terms or more has ever had five cabinet members resign due to ethics concerns and violations. Trump has lost Tom Price, Scott Pruitt, David Shulkin, Ryan Zinke, and Alex Acosta. None of these men should have been working in a presidential administration. In a competent administration that cared about ethics and values, none of them would have been given a job, much less cabinet-level positions.

FDR was elected to four terms in office and did not have five cabinet members resign due to ethics violations and corruption.

Presidential administrations are direct reflects of the personalities and priorities of their president in charge.

Donald Trump is a low character person who values corruption and criminality over personal character. Trump doesn’t want individuals with good values and a strong moral compass around him.

Instead of draining the swamp, Trump has remade it in his own corrupt image and set a record for administrative ethical violations.
