Here is how the Democratic candidates stack up in terms of cash for the second quarter:
Another Q2 update:

2. Biden $21.5M
3. Warren $19.1M
4. Sanders $18M
5. Harris $12M

What Does Elizabeth Warren’s Fundraising Mean
Sen. Warren is beating Sen. Sanders at his own game. It is important for Warren to raise more money than Sanders and Harris because Bernie Sanders has a large and well established small donor network from his first presidential campaign, and Sen. Kamala Harris was riding a big first debate bump. Elizabeth Warren is showing that it isn’t just Bernie Sanders who can fuel a campaign off of small donations. Sanders and Warren combined have raised more than $37 million without taking big money donations.
Elizabeth Warren is showing that she’s got real fundraising muscle behind her policy plans.
Sen. Warren is the contender who could rise to second and be the top challenger to Joe Biden. Bernie Sanders has a solid base of support. Kamala Harris had a great debate, but don’t sleep on Elizabeth Warren because she may end up being the top challenger to former vice president Biden.
