Mitch McConnell And Elaine Chao Are Illegally Making Money Off Of Russia And China

Trump’s DOT secretary and wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Elaine Chao is illegally using her cabinet position to make money off of Russia and China.

Politico reported on Chao’s abuse of her position to benefit her family business:

Experts in government ethics said Elaine Chao’s media appearances with her father might violate a regulation that prohibits federal employees from using their public office for their “own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity.”

….

Not only do the DOT flags appear prominently in the New China Press interview and several other interviews, the state flag of Kentucky appears in at least one, which points up her connection to her powerful husband, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

On the Russia front, Chao has no diverted her holdings that are profiting from the payoff that her husband got from Russia:

Chao’s husband blocks Democrats from reimposing sanctions on Russia. He is rewarded with $200 million in Russian investment in Kentucky, which it just so happens, allows his wife to make a profit on some investments that she was supposed to have divested when she joined the Trump administration but did not.

Finding out another member of Trump’s cabinet is corrupt and abusing their office for financial gain is not shocking by this point, but what the McConnell/Chao story reveals is that the Senate Majority and his wife have been compromised by foreign governments who are hostile to the interests of the United States and the American people.

Mitch McConnell’s wife is breaking the law. The problem that is putting America at risk isn’t just a lawless president. It is a criminal and compromised Republican Party.
