Trump Is Carrying Out A Purge Of DHS As The Secret Service Director Is Out

Reports are circulating that Trump is planning a full-scale purge at Homeland Security as part of his plan to implement his court blocked immigration policies.

CNN reported that White House pushed out Secret Service Director Randolph Ailes and full purge is underway at DHS:

The Secret Service director reports directly to the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, who resigned on Sunday amid growing pressure from the President. The director oversees the Secret Service’s work on both protection and investigations.

“There is a near-systematic purge happening at the nation’s second-largest national security agency,” one senior administration official says.

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services director Francis Cissna and Office of the General Counsel’s John Mitnick are expected to be gone soon, and the White House is eyeing others to be removed.

Trump is conducting a dangerous purge at the nation’s second-largest security agency

Homeland Security was a department that was created after the 9/11 attacks to improve coordination and intelligence between agencies in dealing with terrorist threats. DHS is a huge department that oversees 22 different agencies.

Trump is trying to convert Homeland Security into a tool for his racist immigration policies.

There can be no doubt that Trump’s purge is making a vital national security agency less stable, and endangering the security of the nation. DHS has come under criticism for being bloated and unwieldy, but Trump’s actions aren’t intended to deal with those issues. Trump is trying to turn DHS into his personal immigration weapon.

The Secret Service chief has been in conflict with the White House security concerns at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump is eliminating anyone who might tell him no because he and Steven Miller are setting the wheels in motion for a massive and illegal immigration action.
