The Secret Service Says They Can’t Stop Trump From Letting Spies Into Mar-a-Lago

After a woman from China was arrested at Mar-a-Lago while carrying malware, the Secret Service released a statement stating that they can’t stop Trump from letting spies into his private club.

The Secret Service Can’t Stop Spies From Hanging Out With Trump

The Secret Service said in a statement:

The Secret Service does not determine who is invited or welcome at Mar-a-Lago; this is the responsibility of the host entity. The Mar-a-Lago club management determines which members and guests are granted access to the property. This access does not afford an individual proximity to the President or other Secret Service protectees. In such instances, additional screening and security measures are employed. With the exception of certain permanently protected facilities, such as the White House, the practice used at Mar-a-Lago is no different than that long-used at any other site temporarily visited by the President or other Secret Service protectees.

While the Secret Service does not determine who is permitted to enter the club, our agents and officers conduct physical screenings to ensure no prohibited items are allowed onto the property.

Trump is a national security risk

Trump’s refusal to separate himself from his private businesses is jeopardizing national security. There is no way that a president should be going to a private for-profit club that he owns and mingling with the members. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago situation is a climate that creates a perfect storm for a national security disaster.

No one worries about national security until something goes wrong.

There were no concerns in the country about national security before 9/11, but it just takes one incident to change everything. This time it was the Chinese trying to gain American classified information, but what could stop other non-nation state rogue actors from exploiting Trump’s desire to promote his business and hang out at his club?

The United States has gotten very lucky so far, but must get Donald Trump, his corruption, and his endangering of national security out of office, before something tragic happens.
