Mueller’s Investigators Are Talking And What They Are Saying Is Bad News For Trump

Investigators who worked on the Mueller investigation are talking and confirming suspicions that William Barr misled on the damaging info for Trump in the Mueller report.

The New York Times reported:

Some of Robert S. Mueller III’s investigators have told associates that Attorney General William P. Barr failed to adequately portray the findings of their inquiry and that they were more troubling for President Trump than Mr. Barr indicated, according to government officials and others familiar with their simmering frustrations.

….

The officials and others interviewed declined to flesh out why some of the special counsel’s investigators viewed their findings as potentially more damaging for the president than Mr. Barr explained, although the report is believed to examine Mr. Trump’s efforts to thwart the investigation. It was unclear how much discussion Mr. Mueller and his investigators had with senior Justice Department officials about how their findings would be made public. It was also unclear how widespread the vexation is among the special counsel team, which included 19 lawyers, about 40 F.B.I. agents and other personnel.

What Barr and Trump are hiding from Congress is evidence of obstruction of justice

It was only a matter of time before those associated with the Mueller investigation grew so frustrated with the White House’s spin and stall that they began talking. The path to presidential impeachment runs through obstruction of justice, and that is the one part of the Barr memo where the attorney general stepped in and cleared Trump on his own.
The White House is trying to prevent Congress from getting evidence in the Mueller report that could lead to Trump impeachment. The Congressional part of this investigation may turn on presidential abuses of power and obstruction of justice.

Trump brought all of this on himself by refusing to release the report and then running around screaming total exoneration.

The Mueller people are beginning to talk, and what they are saying is all bad news for Trump.
