After Michael Cohen set the table, House Democrats want to speak to Donald Trump’s kids, Don Jr. and Ivanka about the Trump Tower Moscow deal.
The Washington Post reported:
Democrats are talking first and foremost about bringing in Weisselberg and Trump Jr., pointing to their alleged involvement with hush payments during the 2016 election to women alleging sexual affairs with Trump. Cohen presented the panel with a check signed by both m, n, one of 11 checks he said were reimbursements for purchasing adult-film star Stormy Daniels’s silence.

Democrats also want to learn more about what Trump’s children, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, knew about the Trump Tower Moscow project, an effort by the Trump Organization to secure a major development in Russia during the 2016 campaign. Cohen testified that he spoke with Trump “at least a half-dozen times” and also kept his children apprised of developments.
“They seem like relevant witnesses,” said Rep. Eric Swalwell, (D-Calif.), who sits on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. “. . .They know things.
House Democrats are going to do something that Republicans in Congress have never done. They are going to seriously question Trump’s children who are the most involved with his business.
The president’s children are in massive legal jeopardy from the Southern District of New York. There are a variety of investigations going on into Trump’s inauguration, the Trump Organization, the Trump Foundation, and basically every other area of the Trump-related businesses. There are at least a half a dozen investigations going on that involve Trump’s children, and that’s before the Democratically controlled House got involved.
The president might be protected from being indicted while in office, but there is no law stopping prosecutors from charging Trump’s kids.
House Democrats are coming, and if Don Jr. and Ivanka Trump lie, there will be criminal charges in their futures.
