A new report on some of Trump’s answers to Mueller helps to explain why the president has been losing it lately. Trump appears to have lied about prior knowledge of the Wikileaks email dump.

CNN reported:

President Donald Trump told special counsel Robert Mueller in writing that Roger Stone did not tell him about WikiLeaks, nor was he told about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting between his son, campaign officials and a Russian lawyer promising dirt on Hillary Clinton, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

One source described the President’s answers without providing any direct quotes and said the President made clear he was answering to the best of his recollection.

Both Trump and Stone have denied any prior knowledge of the hacked DNC email dump by Wikileaks. The problem is that Jerome Corsi said that he told Stone that the emails were going to be dumped, and Stone himself called Trump the following day.

Trump Lied To Mueller

Paul Manafort tried to lie to Mueller and is about to be sent to prison for the rest of his life. Jerome Corsi lied to Mueller and his due to be indicted. Trump has learned since he sent his answers to Mueller that the Special Counsel has the evidence and knows when a witness is lying. Mueller has made it clear that anyone who lies to him has a big problem.

Donald Trump is ranting about McCarthyism on Twitter because he lied to Robert Mueller potentially on multiple questions. Trump’s lawyers wanted to submit written answers because they were afraid that Trump would commit perjury in an interview, but it turns out that even in a written format, Trump has likely lied to the Special Counsel and committed an impeachable offense.
