In a roller coaster day, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) is a no, and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is still described as having serious issues with supporting Brett Kavanaugh.
The news on Flake:
I’m told by source with direct knowledge that Flake is “still having issues” and that some colleagues are trying to “walk him through them.” Sen Coons tells me just now that Flake reached out to him and asked if they could speak at length later.

The Kavanaugh Confirmation Is Not A Done Deal Yet
Jeff Flake really seems like he doesn’t want to vote for Kavanaugh. Susan Collins is probably going to fall into line and vote to confirm, so that means that Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination may depend on Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska who is getting a lot of pressure back home to vote against Kavanaugh and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) who would be committing political suicide if he was the vote that Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court.
Republicans are trying to rush this confirmation through, but the reality is that even after the sham FBI report, they still don’t have all of the votes that they need to confirm Brett Kavanaugh.
