The myth of Trump as a self-made billionaire was concocted to cover up the big secret that Trump got his wealth from tax fraud.
The New York Times reported:
The Times’s investigation, based on a vast trove of confidential tax returns and financial records, reveals that Mr. Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, starting when he was a toddler and continuing to this day.
Much of this money came to Mr. Trump because he helped his parents dodge taxes. He and his siblings set up a sham corporation to disguise millions of dollars in gifts from their parents, records and interviews show. Records indicate that Mr. Trump helped his father take improper tax deductions worth millions more. He also helped formulate a strategy to undervalue his parents’ real estate holdings by hundreds of millions of dollars on tax returns, sharply reducing the tax bill when those properties were transferred to him and his siblings.
Trump isn’t a great businessman. Trump is a failed businessman who was literally born rich and is still getting money from his parents long after they have passed away. Trump has been secretive about his finances from the moment that he stepped into national politics, but the presidency is an impossible place to hide secrets, and Trump‘s biggest secret is that he is not who he has claimed to be for his entire adult life.
Donald Trump isn’t a billionaire. He isn’t a great dealmaker or negotiator. Trump is a con man, a swindler, who made up a story of success to disguise the truth that he was born with a literal silver spoon in his mouth. Trump doesn’t understand workers because he has never had to work for anyone else. He has never lived paycheck to paycheck.
From the time that he was a toddler his parents were funneling money to Trump, and cash continues to flow even though Donald Trump is a senior citizen. Trump created the myth to cover up the crime.
But, it’s all over now.
America can see who Trump really is, and that has got to be driving him crazy.
