Deborah Ramirez Has Given The FBI A List Of Witnesses To Back Up Kavanaugh Sexual Assault Allegation

Last updated on November 21st, 2018 at 03:39 pm

The second woman to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, Deborah Ramirez, has provided the FBI with a list of witnesses that support her accusation.
CNN reported:

Ramirez accused Kavanaugh of exposing himself to her at a party when he was a freshman at Yale, according to an account published in The New Yorker. Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegation.

In an interview with the magazine, Ramirez said that she realized if she ever did speak with agents for the FBI, she knew she would be questioned about some lapses in her memory, her drinking at the party and her motivation for coming forward.

The source said Ramirez supplied the FBI on Sunday with the names of witnesses.

There is much more at stake besides a Supreme Court nomination. We are at a critical moment in American cultural history. America as a nation can send a message to women and men who are sexually assaulted that they can come forward. They will be believed. Their stories will be taken seriously and perpetrators will be held accountable.

By sticking with Brett Kavanaugh, Republicans have already lost. The GOP had a moral choice to make and they chose wrong.

The FBI is not just investigating Dr. Christine Blasey Ford‘s accusation. They are also investigation the Deborah Ramirez accusation. Ramirez wasn’t invited to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. She didn’t get the chance to tell her story, but she is being taken seriously and Senators will have to weigh her account, and that of her witnesses, before they vote on Brett Kavanaugh.

No matter the confirmation vote turns out, Republicans have already done massive damage to their party.
