Even Sarah Sanders Seems To Know That Trump’s Going Down

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders looked like she knew that the end was near as she offered a flat and lifeless defense of Trump’s crimes during the White House press briefing.

Q: Michael Cohen under oath pleaded guilty to among other things paying Stormy Daniels and Karen Mcdougal during the campaign and he says he did it at the direction of the President Of The United States. Did President Trump commit a crime?

Sanders: As the president said, we have stated many times, he did nothing wrong. There are no charges against him. And we’ve commented on this extensively.

Q: Why not report these payments?

Sanders: I am not going to get into the back and forth details. As the president has stated on numerous occasions he did nothing wrong. Just because Michael Cohen made a plea deal doesn’t mean that implicates the president on anything.

Q: Can you stand here today and say that the president has never lied to the American people? So many people look at that tape of him on air force one saying he knew nothing about these payments when we now know he knew everything about these payments. Has he lied?

Sanders: Look, again, I think that’s a ridiculous accusation. The president in this matter has done nothing wrong and there are no charges against him.

Sarah Sanders sounded defeated

The tone of her voice and her body language were signs of a defeated person. Sanders isn’t even trying to offer a vigorous defense of Trump. If you want to see how much damage these scandals are doing to the entire White House watch and listen to Sarah Sanders. It is almost as if reality is starting to set in on some corners of the Trump White House. They aren’t going to get out of this one, and some know it.

The ship is sinking and it looked like Sarah Sanders is ready to bail.
