Trump Just Committed A Crime Against The US By Claiming Russia Isn’t Targeting The US

Trump claimed during a cabinet meeting that Russia is no longer targeting the US. This is a false statement and a crime against his country.

Video:

When asked a reporter if Russia was still targeting the US, Trump said no, then he said, “We’re doing very well. We’re doing very well. Probably as well as anybody has ever done with Russia. And there’s been no president ever as tough as I have been on Russia. All you have to do is look at the numbers, look at what we’ve done, look at sanctions, look at ambassadors not there. Look, unfortunately, at what happened in Syria recently. And I think President Putin knows that better than anybody. Certainly a lot better than he understands it. And he’s not happy about it. And he shouldn’t be happy about it, because there’s never been a president as tough on Russia as I have been. Okay. Thank you very much.”

Trump violated his oath to protect the US again

Trump’s own Director of National Intelligence, Dan Coats, has said that Russia is targeting the 2018 election. Former Sec. of State Rex Tillerson said that Russia is targeting the 2018 election. The heads of every single US intelligence agency have said during Congressional testimony that Russia is targeting the midterm election. The Trump administration has been trying to downplay the Russian efforts, but a claim that Russia isn’t targeting the US is flat-out false.

Trump is refusing to protect the United States of America. He is violating his oath to protect and defend the country. The president is working against the national security apparatus of the United States of America.

The President is intentionally making America less safe. It is a crime against his own country, and if Republicans don’t stop him, the American people will.
