Former MSNBC Host Ed Schultz Dies At 64

Ed Schultz, the former MSNBC host, who went to work for RT and became a defender of Russia and Trump has died of natural causes at the age of 64.

According to WDAY-TV News in Fargo, ND, “Longtime broadcaster Ed Schultz has died. Sources tell WDAY-TV News in Fargo that Schultz died of natural causes in Washington, D.C. He was 64.”

Schultz was a conservative radio host in the 1990s. He became a Democrat, and by 2009, he was on MSNBC. MSNBC and Schultz split in 2015, and then he reinvented himself again on the Russian government-backed propaganda channel RT. Schultz showed up at CPAC in 2017, and until his death was a Trump encouraging, Russian election interference denier, and the face of Moscow propaganda in the United States.

In April 2018, Schultz gave an interview that revealed how far he had fallen. In the interview, he touted Putin and bashed the United States. Schultz said, “The American people don’t understand that what Russia is going through, not right now, is a big political experiment. That Vladimir Putin is trying to make sure that this system of sovereign democracy works in Russia.”

Ed Schultz will be known for the Ed Show, but he may be more remembered for selling out to Putin and Trump and spreading Russian propaganda to the American people.
