Trump Aligned Florida Attorney General Chased Away From Theater By Protesters

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was chased away from a movie theater by protesters one day after she protections for people with preexisted conditions.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that the protesters shouted at Bondi while she was trying to go see the new Mister Rogers documentary:

“What would Mister Rogers think about you and your legacy in Florida? Taking away health insurance from people with pre-existing conditions, Pam Bondi!” Maria José Chapa, a labor organizer, can be heard yelling to Bondi in the video. “Shame on you!”

“You’re a horrible person!” another protester shouts.

Bondi claimed that she was being bullied and called the police on the protesters, which is more recourse than the people of Florida will have against her when they lose their health insurance due to having a pre-existing condition.

Republicans and their policies are so hated that they can’t go out in public

A political party that was more in touch with reality might come to understand that if they want to win elections, or at minimum stop getting kicked out of restaurants and confronted by protesters, they should rethink their positions on issues like healthcare. However, Donald Trump’s Republican Party is not smart. When confronted with public outrage over their unpopular policies, they call the cops and claim that they are being bullied.

People are fighting for their lives on issues like health care, and if Republicans don’t see these confrontations as a warning, they are going to face complete defeat at the ballot box in November.
