Trump has admitted that he isn’t going make denuclearization a precondition of the N. Korea summit.

Trump said, “I think within the first minute, I’ll know. Just my touch, my feel. That’s what I do. How long will it take to figure out whether or not they’re serious, I said, maybe in the first minute. You know, the way they say you know if you’re going to like somebody in the first five seconds, you ever hear that one? Well, I think very quickly, I’ll know whether or not something good is going to happen.”
Trump went on to lower the stakes the summit, by saying that all he wanted from N. Korea was dialogue, not denuclearization.
Trump said, “Well, I think the minimum would be relationship. You’d start at least a dialogue. Because, you know, as a deal person, I’ve done very well with deals. What you want to do is start that. Now, I’d like to accomplish more than that. But at a minimum, I do believe, at least we’ll have met each other. We will have seen each other. Hopefully we will have liked each other and we’ll start that process. So I would say that would be the minimal. And the maximum, I think you know the answer to that. But I think that will take a little bit of time.”
The “summit” is going to be a farce of a photo-op. There isn’t going to be a deal. North Korea isn’t going to get rid of their nukes, and Trump isn’t going to ask them to. Trump has gone bankrupt at least four times because he used his instincts. Trump’s feel for people and situations is awful, and it a joke that a President Of The United States is going to walk into a summit with no preparation and rely on “feel” to make US foreign policy.
Trump has gone from Nobel Peace Prize to it is a win if we talk.
That is a long fall in a short period of time. Kim Jong-un has already going everything he wanted as Donald Trump is not going to ask the North Koreans to give up their nukes as long as they pose for some pictures with him.
