Roseanne Barr returned to Twitter and defended her racist on Valerie Jarrett by retweeting a meme of Jarrett and Zira from The Planet Of The Apes.
Barr retweeted this bit racist illogical tripe:
Let’s break this down for the Trump supporters. Comparing people of color to monkeys is racist. Donald Trump is not a person of color. Sorry, but his orange spray tan doesn’t count. Comparing Trump to a monkey is not racist. The monkey slur has been used against people of color for centuries. The racists know this because they have spent years comparing Obama, his family, and his administration to monkeys.
Yes, it is ok to compare Trump to a monkey. It is not ok to compare people of color to monkeys, but the Trump supporters are just trying to lower the bar and make their racism more acceptable to society at large.
Barr also tweeted that she felt bad for all the people who lost their jobs because she is a flaming racist:
She also feels that it is unfair that ESPN hired non-racist Keith Olbermann, but canceled her:
Roseanne didn’t learn anything. Getting canceled won’t change her in the least. If it hadn’t been today’s tweets to get her axed, it would have come tomorrow, or the day after, because this is who Roseanne Barr is. She is a racist, and the big question now is how did ABC ever get back into business with someone who everyone knew was a racist and a bigot?
It is time for the American people to demand that the television networks place character ahead of profits because the American people won’t tolerate any more Trumpian racism.
