Roseanne Barr’s agent has dropped her and ABC has already removed her show from the network’s website.
Roseanne’s agent ICM Partners dumped her, “We are all greatly distressed by the disgraceful and unacceptable tweet from Roseanne Barr this morning. What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency. Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her. Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client.”

Roseanne is still available on Hulu, but the swift action of both the network and her representation suggests that they may have been waiting for something to happen. There wasn’t any great debate about her fate. There was no suspension and an investigation. Roseanne was cut loose immediately. Barr might have been dropped because her statements were racist, but as the days and weeks go on it won’t be a shock if stories emerge that are just as bad or worse than what Barr tweeted.
Roseanne Barr is being sent back to obscurity, and outside of Trump hiring her to work in the White House, her career and TV show are done.
