Trump Tantrums And Demands That We Stop Talking About Stormy Daniels

Trump threw a fit when asked about the Stormy Daniels payoff and called it crap, and the Russia investigation a witch hunt while complaining that nobody wants to talk about the fact that the country is running “so smooth.”

Trump said, “We’re not changing any stories. All I’m telling you is that this country is right now running so smooth. And to be bringing up that kind of crap and to be bringing up witch hunts all the time. That’s all you want to talk about. You’re going to see — excuse me.”

Trump is saying that his criminal activity isn’t worthy of scrutiny. Instead, the American people should adore him for the job that he is doing as president. Forget about the fact that Trump spends most of his presidency watching Fox News, tweeting, and golfing, or that this is a president who has one major legislative accomplishment and no agenda in nearly two years in office. Trump wants praise for doing nothing.

Donald Trump doesn’t want to talk about the fact that his presidency has placed graft and corruption ahead of governing and public policy. Trump would also really like it if we didn’t mention that he created the Stormy Daniels problem himself by refusing to wave the NDA and insisting on fighting with her.

Trump tantrums over the Russia investigation on a nearly daily basis, but tantruming over the coverage of the Stormy Daniels story is something new. If there were nothing to hide, Trump wouldn’t be so angry. The fact Trump doesn’t want the media and the American people to talk about it tells you that there is much more potential damage to the Trump in Daniels story than we currently know.
