The lawyer for Stormy Daniels said that he was ecstatic after Donald Trump lied and denied all knowledge of the payment of hush money to his client.

Michael Avenatti said, “It’s a very Merry Christmas here in our camp. This is what happens when you have an undisciplined client. We waited for Christmas and lo and behold it’s arrived. The statements that Donald Trump made on air force one are serious for Donald Trump and serious Cohen, these guys are making it as they go along and our case just got a whole lot better.
MSNBC’s Ari Melber said, “You’re happy, you’re sharing with your viewers that you see this as good news.”
Avenatti continued, “Ecstatic, let’s be clear, I’m ecstatic.”
Melber asked, “If the president didn’t make the payment, in your view legally, does that mean he may not be able to enter into the case which he did in trying to take your client’s case out of court?”
Avenatti answered, “Our case is simpler than that, because if the president didn’t know anything about the payment, then he didn’t know anything about the agreement, and in that case you can’t have an agreement. Then there is no NDA and all this bluster that we have seen Michael Cohen and others about how they’re going to take my client for everything she’s worth and go on an extended vacation. It’s all been proven to be baseless.”
Trump can’t control himself. He had to lie when asked about the payment of hush money to Stormy Daniels. He couldn’t help himself. The result of his lie is that he opened the door for Daniels to argue that there was no agreement and that there is nothing stopping her from telling all. Michael Avenatti has been publicly baiting Trump for weeks. Today, the president took the bait, and just handed the case to Stormy Daniels.
If Trump can’t handle an adult film actress and her lawyer, he is going to get destroyed by Robert Mueller and the Special Counsel investigation.
Trump can’t stop lying, and this fatal flaw will be what brings him down.
