‘He’s Guilty As Hell’: Former FBI Agent Says Trump’s Pro-Putin Talk Means Russia Has The Goods

In an interview with MSNBC’s AM Joy, former FBI double agent Naveed Jamali said that Donald Trump’s favorable behavior toward Vladimir Putin is proof that he’s “guilty as hell.”

Jamali said, “Donald Trump is guilty of something. What that is, we don’t know. But he must be guilty of something.”

The former FBI agent said:

Every time I see Donald Trump speak about Vladimir Putin, I’m reminded of one of my kids sitting in the kitchen and they stroll in and say, “I didn’t do anything wrong.” You just know that everything that Trump says – he did something wrong. He’s guilty as hell of something. What that is, we don’t know. But we can all be certain that he is guilty of something – or at least he thinks he is.

Trump has either praised Russia or remained silent about their crimes against the U.S.

When it comes to Vladimir Putin and Russia, Trump has either been uncharacteristically silent as the Russians wage war on U.S. democracy, or he goes out of his way to praise Moscow.

From his continued questioning of Russian involvement in the 2016 election to his failure to swiftly implement sanctions against them, Trump is clearly afraid of Russia.

Earlier this month, Trump called Putin to congratulate him on winning a sham election. Not only did he ignore his own briefings in doing so, but he also didn’t mention Russia’s recent gas attack in the UK or revisit the 2016 attack on American democracy.

Contrast that weak behavior with this morning, when Trump went on a Twitter rampage against Amazon. The president has no qualms about attacking just about anybody else, no matter how unfounded those attacks are.

Special counsel Robert Mueller will soon find out whether Trump is hiding something with respect to Russia, but his behavior over the past year seems to indicate that he is guilty of something.
