A group catering to liberals has launched a new website for critics of President Trump to find love and romance. The group, a political startup called American Liberal Council (ALC), describes its dating website NeverTrump.Dating as “an all-inclusive, love-pairing dating site for those who oppose and resist President Donald Trump.”
The website was “made with progressives, independents, disillusioned Republicans, and the LGBT community in mind,” according to a press release from ALC.
Ted Brown, the founder of ALC, said in a statement that ‘NeverTrump.Dating allows like-minded individuals to ban together in opposition to the corrupt, morally-bankrupt administration in power.”
“Our Democracy can still be saved,” he said. “But in order to do so, we must join together those with like-minded beliefs and stand for tolerance and justice for all. We need allies who will never back down to the corrupt, morally-bankrupt administration in power – and we can do that right here.”
The website is apparently being done in response to a similar dating website for pro-Trump people, Trump.Dating.
Users of the dating site can register as gay, lesbian, or straight, but there is no transgender option. It is now free for people to sign up initially, but there will be a fee for monthly memberships later.
