NRA Headed For Crash Landing As Delta And United Abandon The Toxic Gun Group

The National Rifle Association continues to head for a crash landing as two more major companies – Delta and United Airlines – have joined the growing list of businesses cutting ties with them.

The two companies made the announcements within hours of each other on Saturday morning.

In a tweet, Delta said they are “ending their contract for discounted rates” for NRA members. They also asked the gun organization to “remove our information from their website.”

A couple hours later, United Airlines echoed Delta, saying they too will “no longer offer a discounted rate to their annual meeting and we are asking that the NRA remove our information from their website.”

The NRA is finally taking a financial toll for its complicity in American gun violence

As CNN noted on Saturday, Delta and United Airlines are just the most recent companies added to the list of businesses abandoning the NRA. Joining the two major airliners: “A cybersecurity firm. Six car rental brands. A home security company. An Omaha bank.”

It’s likely that the airline companies won’t be the last names added to this list. American consumers are making it clear they will take their money elsewhere if businesses continue to associate with the NRA.

For decades, the toxic gun group has maintained its power over lawmakers and many gun owners. But as yet another community grieves after a mass shooting, it’s quickly losing its influence. Americans are fed up with constant gun massacres and will no longer accept the NRA nonsense that more guns are the answer.
