Trump Diminishes And Disgraces MLK Day By Spending The Holiday Golfing

As President, Barack Obama spent eight years turning MLK Day into a day of helping others, but Trump is diminishing the holiday by spending the day golfing.

Obama turned Martin Luther King Day into a day of public service. He spent each holiday of his presidency engaged in public service and encouraged the American people to do the same. George W. Bush also did public service on MLK Day as president.

Here is what Trump is doing according to the White House press pool report provided to PoliticusUSA, “President’s motorcade arrived at Trump International Golf Course at 9:07 am.”

Trump is at his private club in Florida on the taxpayers’ dime golfing.

While previous presidents elevated Martin Luther King Day, Trump is diminishing it. The Trump message is that holiday that people tirelessly worked for decades to make a reality is not worth the President Of The United States disrupting his busy schedule of tweeting and playing golf to participate in any public events.

The Trump presidency has been a constant assault on everything that Dr. King stood for, and now the racist president is insulting the holiday in his honor. Presidents lead the country through their behavior, as Trump’s actions suggest that he is trying to make Martin Luther King Day go away.
