Sarah Huckabee Sanders used her official capacity as the White House Press Secretary to celebrate CNN’s boycott of the White House Christmas party.
In response to the news that CNN won’t be attending the White House Christmas party, Huckabee Sanders tweeted:
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is supposed to be working with the press to keep the nation informed about what this president is doing. Instead, she is using her position to publicly feud with a cable news network that has never done anything to the Trump administration but try to report the truth.
Sanders is Trump’s Baghdad Bob. She is the lying propagandist who stands in front of the cameras daily to misinform the American people. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has never shown anything but contempt for objective or media that is willing to be critical of this administration.
She is disgracing herself and will be as toxic as Sean Spicer when her time as White House Press Secretary comes to an end. Her job is to answer questions from the press, not openly cheer for the demise of a key component of the free press.
Trump’s hatred of CNN extends to his entire administration. Trump has gone so far as to try and force the sale of CNN to Rupert Murdoch.
The Trump administration views truth as the enemy, and fundamental institution of democracy is under assault from the President and his press secretary.
