Justice Is Catching Up To The Trump Family As Jared Kushner Is Under Investigation In Maryland

Trump son in law, and White House adviser Jared Kushner is being investigated by the Maryland Attorney General for abusive debt collection practices and poor living conditions at several of his properties.

CNN reported, “The Maryland attorney general is investigating one of the Kushner family’s real estate businesses after media reports surfaced earlier this year about allegedly abusive debt collection practices and poor conditions at several of its properties…..Kushner Companies has been under the microscope since President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, entered the political scene — first as Trump’s confidant during the 2016 campaign and now as a senior White House adviser.”

History may look back and conclude that the worst thing to happen to the Trump family was Donald Trump winning the 2016 election. For decades the Trump clan has gotten away with operating on the fringes of or outside of the law, but with the White House comes intense scrutiny. The kind of scrutiny that exposes Jared Kushner to state investigations over how he has been running his family’s business.

While the nation is focused on the national Russia investigation, the Kushner is a good reminder that the Trumps are also being investigated at the state level. Donald Trump can’t use the presidency to get his family, or himself out of trouble if state charges come. It is no small detail that Jared Kushner could very well be a slum lord.

Trump brought his entire family culture of corruption into the White House. Jared Kushner is a symptom of the disease that is eating away the integrity of the executive branch.

If the Trump family goes down, it could be the states that get the job done.
