Mitch McConnell Falls Flat On His Face As 22 Million Would Lose Healthcare Under Revised Bill

Mitch McConnell just can’t stop losing, as the CBO found that 22 million people would still lose their health insurance under his revised Obamacare repeal and replace bill.

The CBO reported that the same number of people would still lose their health insurance:

After weeks of bill changes and meetings, Mitch McConnell is right back where he started. The Senate Majority’s Leader’s bill would still take coverage away from 22 million Americans, and he doesn’t have enough votes to pass the legislation. The ineptitude radiating from the White House is well known and equally well documented, but McConnell was thought to be some sort of legislative process genius who get bills through the Senate for Trump to sign.

It turns out that the genius is an idiot who is another is a growing list of Republican leaders who have no idea how to govern positively. The party of no label that was hung on Republicans was accurate. From Paul Ryan to Mitch McConnell to Donald Trump, Republicans have people in charge who don’t know how to use their power positively to pass legislation.

Republicans are still saying no, and working on legislation that takes things away from people like, for example, their health insurance. The only difference between last year and this year is that Republicans are saying no to each other instead of a Democratic president.

Mitch McConnell tried to get health care through the Senate and fell flat on his face. It’s time that we reevaluate Mitch McConnell’s skills as a political leader who can get things done because on health care the Senator from Kentucky has been a total flop.
