The best way to get under Donald Trump’s very thin skin is to mock and ridicule him, and it appears the Democrats have no problem doing just that.
In a Saturday morning tweet, Adam Schiff responded to recent comments by Trump in which the president said Americans are at risk of being injured by drug traffickers throwing “large sacks of drugs” over the wall on the southern border.
His tweet was priceless:
If an American is hit over head with a big sack of drugs flying over the wall, would it be covered by Trumpcare, or would Mexico pay for it? pic.twitter.com/mzKQx8Rroh

Schiff’s attack hit the president on two fronts: his struggling effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act with something that would hurt millions of Americans, and his failure to construct a Mexico-funded wall on the southern border.
The tweet came after Trump made strange comments this week about Americans being injured by “sacks of drugs” coming over the border wall.
“As horrible as it sounds, when they throw the large sacks of drugs over, and if you have people on the other side of the wall, you don’t see them – they hit you on the head with 60 pounds of stuff? It’s over,” the President of the United States said. “As crazy as that sounds, you need transparency through that wall.”
Besides the irony of Trump talking about transparency at a time when his administration is working to cover up the most explosive scandal in U.S. political history, it’s particularly rich to hear the president express his worries about Americans needing medical attention in injuries related to drugs coming over the border.
If he was so worried about that, as Schiff alluded to on Saturday, he wouldn’t be advocating for a health care law strips millions of insurance and will lead to thousands of more American deaths.
