Trump Shoots Himself In The Foot By Reminding America That Popular Obamacare Is A Democratic Plan

As the wildly unpopular Trumpcare is set to kill tens of thousands of Americans and makes $800 bilion plus cuts to Medicaid even though President Trump promised that he wouldn’t make any cuts to Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security, Trump thought it would really hurt Democrats if he tied them to the very popular, in contrast to Trumpcare, Obamacare.

“The Democrats have become nothing but OBSTRUCTIONISTS, they have no policies or ideas. All they do is delay and complain.They own ObamaCare!”

Trumpcare, which Republicans might vote on this week even though their own members haven’t even had a chance to read the bill (an accusation Republicans falsely made against Obamacare), is set to harm people in untold sways. It’s almost as if it has been laced with health death bombs.

“77% of rural hospital closures were in states that didn’t expand Medicaid. Further Medicaid cuts could push 700 other hospitals over edge. Rural areas devastated when hospitals close: -Hundreds of jobs lost -Smaller tax base for schools/police -Can’t attract new businesses,” Chris Lu, former Deputy Secretary of Labor and and White House Cabinet Secretary to President Obama, pointed out in several tweets.

Not having a nearby hospital can also be the difference between life and death. So hospital closures are a pretty big deal.

Mike Pence and the rest of the Republican gang who are cutting into healthcare for Americans so they can give the top 400 rich families a tax break claim that they are doing this because sick people need to be personally responsible. Sick people on Medicaid, they argue, need to get a job or as Kellyanne Conway argued, some will power.

Trumpcare is a literal death sentence for many Americans. Republicans are pretending that people are being hysterical when they say this, but the cuts to Medicaid alone put 15 MILLION people with disabilities at risk:

The cuts also impact middle class people with family members in a nursing home.

The President is living in a very teeny bubble these days. In this bubble, Obamacare is not popular and people aren’t actually out protesting President Trump’s efforts to take it away from them all over the country, even in red states.

Here’s a big clue for President Trump: People like Obamacare because it saves lives.

People want to live. This is something to consider when you are crafting a healthcare policy. But of course, Trumpcare is a tax cut for rich families, not a healthcare policy, and that is why it has to kill people whose lives are worth less than a tax cut to Republicans.
