Democrats have turned the tables on Republicans and destroyed Trumpcare by stating that the Senate health care bill will result in, “higher costs, less coverage, and millions of Americans will lose their health insurance.”

Republicans were able to damage the Affordable Care Act by falsely claiming it was a government takeover of healthcare. Fast forward to 2017, and the script has flipped. It is the Democrats who now have the compellingly simple argument that hits home with the American people.
The Democratic argument is better than the one Republicans made to discredit Obamacare because it hits people in the wallet and it is true.
There is a good reason why Mitch McConnell kept his health care bill a secret. It is a vicious piece of legislation that is going to intentionally make life worse for hundreds of millions of Americans. Democrats are the ones with public support and the better argument on their side. It is up to them to rally public opposition and drive the point home to stop this bill.
