Trump hasn’t tweeted all day, and the reason why is that his lawyers and a few advisers aren’t leaving him alone long enough to tweet during Comey’s testimony.
Ashley Parker of The Washington Post tweeted:
The White House is doing their best to keep Trump far away from Twitter. They are surrounding him with lawyers to make sure that he doesn’t meltdown online while Comey testifies. The White House promised that they would have a full schedule for Trump that appears to have been a hope to keep him away from the television. In reality, Trump is huddled around the television, hoping that James Comey doesn’t destroy his presidency. It seems like only a matter of time until the President explodes.
