The White House Is Losing Its Mind Over Congressional Hearings On Russia Collusion

After former CIA Director John Brennan had testified before the House Intelligence Committee, the White House released a statement that was borderline delusional about his testimony.

The White House statement as provided to PoltiicusUSA, “This morning’s hearings back up what we’ve been saying all along: that despite a year of investigation, there is still no evidence of any Russia-Trump campaign collusion, that the President never jeopardized intelligence sources or sharing, and that even Obama’s CIA Director believes the leaks of classified information are ‘appalling’ and the culprits must be ‘tracked down.'”

1). The investigation hasn’t been going on for a year. It just started after Trump became president, so it has been months, not a year.

2). Brennan never said during his testimony that there was no evidence of collusion with Russia, but he did explain how the Russians slow walk people into committing treason against their own country, and how the behavior of individuals associated with the Trump campaign caught the intelligence community’s attention.

3). Former Director Brennan said that President Trump violated at least two protocols if the media reports are correct and he spontaneously shared classified intelligence with Russia.

4). Brennan said that there was evidence of contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia, which although he didn’t directly say it, strongly suggests collusion.

The White House managed to tell four major lies in a one-sentence statement.

With each new development that reveals that something very troubling occurred between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, the White House continues to twist facts into a warped fantasy where nothing happened.

The Brennan testimony was not good for the Trump White House, and their spin is getting increasingly desperate as more and more Americans reject their dubious claims of Russia scandal innocence.
