Trump Whines About Work, Says He Misses His Old Life. We Miss His Old Life Too

You have to wonder, as we approach 100 Days, what Donald Trump was thinking when he ran for president. Or if he was thinking at all.

Apparently, he thought being president was going to be easier than his old life. You know, when he could only pretend to work.

This eye-opener from former Missouri secretary of state Jason Kander tells the sordid tale:

In perhaps the most revealing interview Donald Trump has given other than the unintelligible disaster with the AP Trump told Reuters,

“I loved my previous life. I had so many things going. This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.”

As George Takei acerbically remarked, “For real.”

We’ll never know why he thought it was going to be easy. Probably for the same reason he didn’t know healthcare was complicated or that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.

It is impossible not to agree with former Guantanamo prosecutor Col. Morris Davis, who also offered a solution:

If serial draft dodger Donald Trump’s deplorable attitude towards the death of two service members doesn’t say enough, his attitude towards work says the rest.

If Donald Trump thinks he is the only one who misses his old life, he’s mistaken. The majority of Americans do, and we’d be perfectly content if he were to choose to go back to it and leave the running of the country to adults.

It is not the job, as Trump has learned to his cost, for a lazy, petulant man-child.
