According to Eric Trump, his father used his power as Commander In Chief of the US military to bomb a foreign country because images of the Assad chemical attack on Syrian children upset his daughter Ivanka.
The Daily Telegraph reported:
Mr. Trump said his father was “deeply affected” by the television images in the aftermath of the Syrian chemical attack of children being “sprayed down by hoses to keep their skin from burning.”

The businessman, whose wife is pregnant with their first child, said: “It was horrible. These guys are savages, and I’m glad he responded the way he responded.”
He added: “Ivanka is a mother of three kids and she has influence. I’m sure she said ‘listen, this is horrible stuff.’ My father will act in times like that.
Eric Trump also ignored the fact that Assad has been using chemical weapons on his own people for years to portray his father’s flip-flop on Syria as a man of action responding to an unprecedented situation. What should be troubling to every single American is the idea that the President Of The United States would be swayed by the feelings of his daughter to use the US military. Eric Trump’s comments confirm many of the worst fears about this president. He is making decisions impulsively based on his gut, while listening to his family, instead of experts and advisers.
If it is true that Trump made the decision to bomb a foreign country because his daughter was upset, Congress should investigate, because this decision making process is more than an abuse of power. It may also be an indication of mentally unstable president.
