VP Joe Biden Smacks Down Trump By Telling Him To Grow Up And Be An Adult

Last updated on July 18th, 2023 at 11:23 am

Vice President Joe Biden told Trump to grow up and be an adult. The Vice President also made it clear that put up or shut up time is coming for Trump and Democrats can’t wait for the president-elect to be exposed.

Video:

When asked by Judy Woodruff about Trump’s laundry list of moans and groans about Democrats and President Obama, Vice President Biden said, Grow up, Donald. Grow up. Time to be an adult. You’re president. Show us what you have. You’re going to propose it on legislation. We’re going to get to debate it. Let the public decide. Let’em vote in Congress. Let’s see what happens. It’s going to be much clearer what he’s for and against and what we’re for and against now that it is going to actually get down to discussing in detail these issues that affect people’s lives.”

Vice President Biden made a lot of good points in less than a minute. The problem that Trump and Congressional Republicans are already running into is that for years they have been running on an agenda that they thought they would never be responsible for implementing.

It is easy to sit on the sidelines as the party out of power and complain about everything while having no accountability.

In 15 days, there will be no more blame Obama excuses. In 15 days, the rubber will meet the road and Trump will no longer be able to hide behind vague promises and contradictory statements. Trump will have to show his hand and reveal what he stands for.

It is time for Donald Trump to put on his big boy pants and stop whining. Biden was right. Playtime is done. You could hear in Biden’s words a certain happy anticipation for what is about to come next.

Donald Trump is going to be exposed for what he really is, and Democrats will have a clearly defined opponent to mobilize around and fight against.

Fifteen days to go until it gets real.
