Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump repeatedly boasted about the size of crowds that turned out for his rallies. On Thursday night in Cincinnati, though, the group of attendees was nothing much to boast about, according to multiple accounts.
Ben Jacobs, a reporter for the Guardian, tweeted this photo out just an hour before the event was set to start:
In a later tweet, Jacobs called the crowds “sparse” and said that it “won’t be close to capacity,” despite many Trump supporters on social media bragging about how much traffic there was in and around the city.

As Donald Trump continues his transition toward the presidency – and the popular vote margin for Hillary Clinton surges past 2.5 million votes – it appears people have already grown tired of the president-elect before he has even taken the oath of office.
Instead of holding divisive campaign rallies that generate little interest, perhaps Donald Trump should spend the next couple of months preparing himself for an office he has proven himself unfit to hold.
