Hillary Clinton Details What It’s Like To Be Stalked By An Unhinged Trump

In her first interview since the second presidential debate, Hillary Clinton spoke for so many women who were enraged by Donald Trump’s menacing skulking behind her when she said that Trump “stalked” her while on stage.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Democratic nominee for president said that Trump was really angry because of the Access Hollywood video that captured him bragging about sexual assault, “…he was really all wrought up, and you could just sense how much anger he had.”

“Let’s talk about the debate… What did you make of that?” host Ellen DeGeneres asked.

It was clear that my opponent Donald Trump was going to dominate the space, almost to the exclusion of the people sitting there. I mean they were sitting there so that we could talk to them and they could ask questions and we would then answer.”

“Because of the revelation of the public video, and everything that came out on Access Hollywood, you know, he was really all wrought up, and you could just sense how much anger he had,” Clinton said. “And so, he was really trying to dominate and then literally stalk me around the stage.”

Ellen’s face was priceless, and mirrored the reaction of so many women regarding Trump’s recognizable intimidation tactics:

“It was so odd, because I’d go to talk to somebody, and I would just feel this presence behind me –”

— The audience broke out into laughter with Clinton —

“– and you know, I thought, ‘Whoa this is really weird.'”

The audience and Ellen joined Clinton in their side-eyeing laughter over Donald Trump’s bizarre behavior.

Weird is a diplomatic way of putting it. Clinton was right when she said Trump stalked her around the stage.

Trump’s menacing behavior was immediately noticed by women watching the debate, but it took the media a good few hours to realize that being aggressive to that point wasn’t a winner in the eyes of American women. Some even thought Trump had won the debate by being so on offense, not realizing that he had in fact been offensive.

Clinton is right to attribute Trump’s behavior to his humiliation and rage over the tape that caught him bragging about sexual assault. Numerous professional women have told stories about Donald Trump harassing them after they spurned his advances or somehow embarrassed him by telling the truth about him.

Donald Trump’s rage was directed at Clinton because he holds her responsible for his own behavior, feels entitled to not be held accountable for his behavior, and can’t stand losing to a woman.

Trump has tried to deny his creepy behavior on stage, claiming Clinton “She walks across the room. She’s standing in front of me, right next to me.”

However, the Republican presidential candidate is seen walking right up behind her and standing there menacingly, looking down at her bottom (right after being caught saying he grabs women by their “p*ssy”), and standing behind her at one point appearing to hump a chair.

Clinton did women a favor by naming Trump’s behavior. It’s easy for Trump’s tactics to gaslight Americans, so it helps when powerful people name it so we can process the intimidation and fight it.
