At a campaign event in Iowa on Tuesday, GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence was forced to rebut a supporter for saying that she will revolt if Hillary Clinton is elected in November.

The supporter in the crowd said, “Our lives depend on this election. Our kids’ futures depend on this election. I will tell you, just for me and I don’t want this to happen … If Hillary Clinton gets in … I’m ready for a revolution because we can’t have her in.”
“Don’t say that,” Pence quickly responded. “There’s a revolution coming on November the 8th, I promise you.”
The only problem, of course, is that Trump often spews the very same nonsense that his running mate felt compelled to reject when it come out the mouth of a supporter.
During his own campaign events, Trump has invited the same kind of revolution by encouraging “Second Amendment people” to take care of Hillary Clinton if she’s elected president.
He has also repeatedly claimed that a Clinton victory would only be due to a rigged election system, as if someone so fundamentally unfit to be president couldn’t simply be rejected by American voters.
Perhaps Pence should start listening to what his own running mate says before he criticizes supporters for saying the very same things.
