Donald Trump and his supporters are taking a victory lap on Twitter after 50 people were killed at a gay club in Orlando in what is being called an act of domestic terrorism.
After ignoring the shooting, and then trying to exploit it for his presidential campaign, Trump tweeted:
There is something morally repulsive about anyone receiving congratulations on a day when over 100 innocent Americans were killed and wounded in an act of terror. Instead of thinking about the victims of this horrific attack, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is patting himself on the back.
Donald Trump’s behavior after this attack has been vile and represents everything that the American people should never want in a president. Trump knows so little about the root causes of terrorism that he thinks “toughness” is an answer. The fact is that Donald Trump has no policy to keep America safe because Trump doesn’t believe in policies.
With each Tweet, Trump is demonstrating why he is should not ever be allowed anywhere near the White House. Trump is a deplorable human being who if elected would be the best thing to happen to extremist movements since 9/11.
