Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took to Twitter to stand up to Donald Trump today, but there is more to Warren’s tweets than challenging Trump. Sources suggest that Warren’s true motive is to lay out a road map for every Democrat showing the party how to beat Trump in November.
Sen. Warren went back on the attack against Trump today:
We get it, @realDonaldTrump: When a woman stands up to you, you’re going to call her a basket case. Hormonal. Ugly.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
Do you think you're going to shut us up, @realDonaldTrump? Think again. It's time to answer for your dangerous ideas.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
You care so much about struggling American workers, @realDonaldTrump, that you want to abolish the federal minimum wage?
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
You feel so much for people with college debt, @realDonaldTrump, that you raked in millions scamming students with Trump University?
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
You're so concerned about Wall Street, @realDonaldTrump, that you say you’d “absolutely” repeal Dodd-Frank?
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
When asked what gov should stop doing, @realDonaldTrump said overseeing banks! How can you be tough on Wall Street by letting them off?
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
.@realDonaldTrump: Your policies are dangerous. Your words are reckless. Your record is embarrassing. And your free ride is over.
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 11, 2016
Sources tell CNN’s Brian Stelter that there is more to Warren’s Trump tweets than meets the eye:
Deeper meaning of Warren's anti-Trump tweetstorms, per sources:
1) urging Dem party unity
2) offering a "playbook" for Dems against Trump— Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) May 11, 2016
When all of Warren’s Trump-related tweets are examined together, the pattern becomes clear. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is drawing Democrats a road map for how to beat Donald Trump.
Step one to beating Trump is to realize that Democrats will never win a debate with the presumptive nominee about facts, but facts are meaningless to Donald Trump. Warren has seen the same thing that everybody else who has been paying attention has witnessed. Donald Trump crumbles under pressure. Warren is pressing Trump, not so much on facts, but on the character of his statements and contradictions.
Sen. Warren is also unifying the Democratic Party by tweeting about the contrast between Trump and Democrats on the big issues. Warren has also seized on the fact that Trump is a misogynistic bigot who is driving women away from the Republican Party by the millions.
Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Hillary Clinton are starting to echo a common message on Donald Trump. The Democratic Party is coming together to stop Trump from winning the election. Sen. Warren’s Twiter war with Trump was never about tweeting. Warren is leading the charge and sending a message to the Republican nominee that the Democratic Party won’t be bullied or back down.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren is on the front lines leading the charge against Donald Trump.
