Nothing has worked: book after book (e.g. Ed Klein’s “Blood Feud,” Daniel Halper’s “Clinton Inc.,” and Peter Schweizer’s “Clinton Cash”), invented scandal after invented scandal. Hillary Clinton’s popularity has bent but not broken.
So why not another book? And I’m sure there is time for another scandal before Election Day 2016. The book is more of a broadly-based attack on the whole family: “The Clintons’ War on Women,” is “the definitive exposé of Bill, Hillary, Chelsea, and their abuse of people,” says author Roger Stone.
You might have noticed – it is clear conservatives have or this book would not have been written – that the Clintons have become something along the lines of champions of people. Hillary herself is running in 2016 as a champion of women:

Fox News has even had an answer for that:

They will have to change their tune now to “Hillary is attacking women’s issues as a way of deflecting attention from her own attack on women” or something similar. Stone himself dismisses Clinton as a women’s champion, saying “I think we can make a case that Hillary’s advocacy for women is phony, it’s bogus. It’s an adaption based on polls, not beliefs.”
We can probably make a better case that his book can be dismissed as more a product of unreasoning hatred and less of fact.
Roger Stone, used to work for Donald Trump and says he remains Trump’s “friend and supporter” even though Trump told Jeffrey Toobin at The New Yorker in 2008 that “Roger is a stone-cold loser” and “He always tries taking credit for things he never did.”
According to Toobin, “Like Nixon, Stone is also a great hater—of, among others, the Clintons, Karl Rove, and [Eliot] Spitzer.”
His co-author, Robert Morrow, is no better. Amazon says Morrow “is a political researcher and alternative historian with expertise on the Clintons, the Bush family, and the JFK assassination. He holds a history degree from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Texas. He lives in Austin, Texas.”
As the old saw goes, one should definitely consider the source. Here is what MSNBC has to say:
Stone’s co-author, Robert Morrow, is well-known to reporters who have covered the Clintons, thanks to his tendency to flood their inboxes with incredible and incredulous fables of the couple’s alleged criminal exploits.
Over the years, Morrow has stood out among a sea of amateur Clinton haters and conspiracy theorists thanks to his near-obsessive devotion and prolific output. A 2008 profile in the Tampa Bay Times noted that Morrow “pretty much devotes his life to hating the Clintons and spreading wild, unsubstantiated allegations about them.”
Well, yeah. He has called Hillary Clinton an “angry bull dyke” and “fat nasty hag” on Facebook and said he hopes both Hillary and Bill die after a failed 2016 election.
What Media Matters has to say about Morrow is even more disturbing, if possible:
Robert Morrow is the co-author of the forthcoming book The Clintons’ War on Women with former top Donald Trump aide Roger Stone. Morrow has wished death on Hillary Clinton and been visited by the Secret Service; posted bizarre sexual writings about the former secretary of state; called Chelsea Clinton a “sl*t” and imagined how she would “have sex one day” with Bill Clinton; posted about “n*ggers” and “pro-faggot JUDICIAL ACTIVISM”; and claimed the Bush and Clinton families were involved in murders. Stone also has a disreputable history: he formed an anti-Clinton group called “C.U.N.T.” and called Chelsea a “total b*tch.”
Fox News can hardly ignore the book though they might want to be careful about interviewing Morrow, who has accused Jeb Bush of murder and called President George H.W. Bush, “a drug dealing CIA murderer and homosexual pedophile.”
What MSNBC has to say about his new book makes it clear the authors have lost none of their vitriol:
Stone says his book is like other recent anti-Clinton books, but “on steroids.” Due out in mid-October, it includes a number of accusations that he calls “fantastic.” Some have floated around right-wing circles since the 1990s, such as the allegation that Hillary Clinton ordered the raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993, and that Bill Clinton is not Chelsea Clinton’s biological father.
“Old news is not old news if no one has heard it,” Stone said.
Yet it is Hillary Clinton, not Roger Stone, not Robert Morrow, not Fox News or any Republican candidate for 2016, who, in her Remarks to the U.N. 4th World Conference on Women Plenary Session in Beijing twenty years ago told the world, “Women’s rights are human rights.”
Sounds like what we really need is a book about Stone and Morrow. Neither man seems to have more than a tenuous grasp on reality, or is in a position of accusing anyone else of waging a war on women; both are too consumed with hate to think clearly, and Stone is complicit in Fox News’ failure to disclose that he was, at the time he appeared on the network to defend Trump’s remarks about John McCain, a Trump employee.
Meanwhile, as Trump continues to top the GOP polls and Clinton stubbornly refuses to fade into the background, the attacks will continue:

When all you have is Trump, and now you’ve foolishly tied him to your cause with a loyalty pledge, all you have is as many ad hominem attacks as you can pile onto Hillary Clinton before Election Day. It would hardly do to tackle her on the issues when you have no single policy proposal with which, if you’ll pardon the expression, to trump her’s.
Makes you wonder when Republicans will finally realize they need a platform that isn’t crap. A viable platform! Solutions to problems that actually exist instead of solutions to problems that don’t exist. It’s such an easy solution to their problems. So obvious.
And so un-Republican.
