Consumer Reports is speaking out and criticizing Republicans for misrepresenting their position, and telling people to stay away from the healthcare.gov website.
Conservative and right wing websites have been running wild with the claim that Consumer Reports is telling people to stay away from the website. National Review wrote, “Consumer Reports, which publishes reviews of consumer products and services, advised its readers to avoid the federal health-care exchange “for at least another month if you can.” “Hopefully that will be long enough for its software vendors to clean up the mess they’ve made,” the magazine said, having tested the site themselves over the course of the past three weeks.”

The nearly 20 million hits to the healthcare.gov website are proof that this mission will fail. No matter how hard Republicans try, no matter how many millions of dollars the Koch brothers spend on advertising, they aren’t going to be able to convince people that they don’t really want to be able to see a doctor when they get sick.
Using website problems to deny 30 million people healthcare is desperate and silly. Republicans are running out of options. They continue to ignore what the American people are telling them. The uninsured want access to affordable healthcare. They can warp the words of Consumer Reports until the end of time, but it won’t change the fact that the American people want their Obamacare.
