Bill Maher Calls Out Republicans for Being the Dicks That They Are

Bill Maher called out Republicans for being intellectual children who have no ideology, just a desire to be dicks to as many people as possible.

Maher used a couple of examples of brainwashed conservative kids who mimic their idols like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to illustrate the shallowness of Republican thought.

Maher said, “My point is to Republican adults, and it is this. When fourteen year old boys sound exactly like you do and can produce radio shows and books and speeches that sound exactly like yours, maybe you should rethink the s**t that’s coming out of your mouth. Remember the Republican debates we had this year? They applauded for the idea of letting a sick man without insurance die. Herman Cain got cheers for saying he’d electrify the border fence. They booed a gay man serving his country in the military. No wonder fourteen year old boys can do your act. You act exactly like fourteen year old boys.”

Bill Maher then called the Republicans what they really are, “There’s no ideology here. It’s just about being a dick. Like last week when House Republicans voted to keep using Styrofoam in the cafeteria. Now most people avoid Styrofoam when they can, because not only is it non-biodegradable, it also poisons the food you put in it, or as Republicans call it, a win-win. But honestly, Democrats were trying to set a good environmental example by trading Styrofoam for a risky and untested technology called cardboard. I know. Needs more study, but Republicans blocked it by a vote of 178 to f**k you. F**k you. You want cups that don’t leech chemicals into your coffee? Na-na-na, poopy face. You can’t tell me what to do. Take that, knowing things.”

Maher concluded, “You’ll notice that the left doesn’t have any teen prodigies. You’re not going to find a 14 year old that can do Rachel’s show, but to do Hannity or Rush, it’s a very simple procedure. Step one, be a giant dick. Step two, there is no step two.”

Republican has devolved into being as selfish as possible. Their whole thought process seems to be centered on the assumption that if it is good for other people, it has to be bad for them. There is no real ideology behind their actions. Selfishness has become their ideology. They are a collective group of toddlers pointing at everything and screaming mine, mine, mine at the top of their lungs. They have devolved from mature conservative thought to the miseducated adolescent homeschoolers that they are at heart.

The left always makes the mistake of trying to talk to Republicans like they are adults. Liberals/progressives and Democrats have this idea that if they just explain the facts to conservatives and Republicans, we will all sit down and have a rational discussion about our differences as adults. Sadly, this is the exact opposite of what happens.

If the Democrats are going to successfully communicate with Republicans, the first thing that they have to do is treat them like the children that they are. One of President Obama’s mistakes after the 2010 election was that he tried to negotiate with children. Obama eventually learned to avoid the GOP’s temper tantrums that harm our country by making decisions without them.

The point is simple. Republicans are free to be dicks, but they shouldn’t be surprised when the American people grow tired of getting dicked over and vote them out of office.
